I capture things as they are. The genuine skin, the real emotion, the authenticity of your day. If you're looking for heavy retouching, I may not be the right fit for you, and I'm happy to connect you with photographers who might be.

Yes, I do travel! But I've limited myself to Austin and Charleston because I'm committed to living a full life outside of photography. I travel for select weddings, and I don't charge a travel fee for anything under 60 miles from either city. Seriously—reach out if you're in that range.
Do you travel outside of Charleston and Austin?
Absolutely. I have a network of talented photographers I work with. If you'd like additional coverage, I can bring someone onto your day at their going rate.
Can you bring a second photographer?
I'm actively building my list and will share everything I have with you! Florists, planners, venues, rentals—I'm collecting favorites and happy to connect you with people I trust.
Do you have vendor recommendations?
I'm glad you dig the content! I have some industry friends who absolutely kill it in that space. I'm happy to connect you with them. But I want to be clear about what I do best, and that's giving you a gallery and album that tell your love story the way I know how to tell it.
I love your Instagram videos—do you offer content creation for weddings?
Think about it. You're in the middle of an amazing moment with your people, the party is flowing, the energy is perfect, and suddenly it's time for me to leave because my eight hours are up. That doesn't serve you or honor your day.
The hours I spend with you on-site are just one-sixth of the actual time I invest in your wedding. The real work happens in post-production, in the careful curation of your gallery, and in the hand-crafting of your album. I'm an artist, not an hourly worker. By structuring my packages around the scope of your celebration rather than a time clock, I create space for creativity and artistry to actually flow. It means I can serve you fully, tell your complete story, and pour myself into the images and album you'll have forever.
Why don't you offer 6, 8, 10, or 12-hour packages?
Here's my honest take: I'd prefer to work with a wedding planner or day-of coordinator. If you're relying solely on your venue's event manager or location coordinator, that's not quite the same thing.
If you're going the non-planner route, I ask that you designate one point person for me to work with throughout the day—ideally a bridesmaid or cousin who can help me coordinate moments and logistics. That person shouldn't be the bride, mom, or mother-in-law. They're got their own jobs that day, and I need someone with bandwidth to be in my corner.
Do I need to hire a wedding planner?
Yes! If you book your engagement session with me and then book your wedding, I'll credit the full engagement investment toward your wedding package. Consider it a little gift to my loyal couples. Engagements start at $500.
Do you photograph engagements?
I absolutely do. Courthouse weddings, backyard ceremonies, intimate adventures—I'm here for it. I'm happy to work around your schedule with weekday mornings and evenings if that's what works best for you.
Do you do elopements?

Hi, I'm Ellie! I'm a photographer & web designer living my most aligned life here in Charleston. Honestly? I still jump up and down with joy at how God orchestrated this cross-country move from Austin, TX.
Here's the thing: as a brand photographer, I kept seeing these incredible vendors underselling themselves. I had a vision for how they could excel, how they could present themselves authentically and grow.
When I shifted into wedding photography earlier this year, everything clicked. I realized my next calling was to design websites for wedding vendors. It just made sense. They the kind of support that required time they didn't have. I had years of experience in graphic design, advertising, and organic marketing just waiting to be put to use. So I brought that foundation to the table through web and brand design, helping them present themselves in a way that truly reflects their value.
On the photography side, what drew me to weddings was simpler: I love cheering people on. It's my natural gifting. Freelancing in the wedding space lets me pour that joy into every project, and I look forward to continuing to do exactly that.
